MIU is a university that always strives to be at the forefront of education and provide students with the most useful and interesting events. Recent events that have taken place at the university confirm this approach and show that MIU is always open to new opportunities and initiatives.

Micheel Expo was a great opportunity for MIU to showcase itself at Education Reform 2024. Staff and students actively participated in the event, presenting the advantages of studying at MIU. They have prepared various brochures about the university, the different faculties and the exchange programs that MIU provides to its students. It was a great opportunity for those who are interested in education to learn more about MIU and its study program, to get consultation and get an invitation to the open day.

The next event that had taken place lately was the Job Fair where MIU students had a great opportunity to find jobs or internships with the companies featured at the event. This event was a great chance for students to learn about possible job opportunities, get counseling and start building their professional path.

Moreover, not only MIU organizes events but also individual departments for their students. For example, the department of the School of International Studies and Communications held a special lecture with the invited guest Radoslav Dimitrov, who is a professor at the department of Political Science at Simon Fraser University in Canada. The topic of the lecture was Climate Change Diplomacy and Governance where the professor talked about climate negotiations, the Paris Agreement and the State of Global Climate Governance.

Additionally, MIU students not only actively participate in the events but also organize them themselves. For example, Student Fan Club members organized an outdoor open mic where participants could show their talents in singing and playing an instrument such as guitar. The club members prepared a special area for the participants and provided snacks for all those who attended. This outdoor event was something new for the students and even though it rained a little, the event continued until the evening. At some moment after the rain a rainbow appeared, which gave a magical atmosphere to the event.

Overall, these events show that MIU is actively developing and striving to be interesting and useful for its students and visitors. The university is constantly looking for new ways to attract attention and offer its students interesting and useful events.
